Your heart is heavy, your mind is worried, and you’re afraid that Abba won’t come through. You’ve been praying and interceding for your adult child/ren for a long time. The prayer for some of you has been ‘Save Them’ from the womb because the enemy has even tried to abort them, even then. It’s no coincidence that you are here. Abba has heard your cry, and he’s come to bring rest and settlement to your weary, tired heart. Abba’s Daughter, because you are chosen, so are your children. The enemy wants nothing more than to destroy you and them. Whether you’ve always had a relationship with Abba, reconnecting, or have just begun the journey, your life has been hard. Rejection, isolation, being misunderstood, and being overlooked are all you have ever known. You love Abba, and you want to do things his way, but it seems that at every turn, you’re met with an obstacle. Even if the obstacle is internal, it’s still blocking you. Abba has great plans for you and your children. Because of this call to greatness, the warfare is also great.
Abba wants you to know that all is well. No matter what it looks like or what they are doing, all is well. As I type this blog, I am walking with you as I am waiting and praying for my prodigal sons to return home. I know the tears, worries, and concerns well. The weight and the pressure have been heavy, but I can tell you without reservation that all is well! How so? Because Abba gave me a promise, “They will come to me.” Let your mother’s heart receive this promise today, “They will come to me.” Abba says, “Let Me lead them. Not you. Let Me lead them. You may not like the way I draw them, and they may make more decisions you don’t like before they come, but THEY WILL COME TO ME! The landscape of this family is changing. They will not stay a day longer than you want them to, nor will they leave a day earlier than they need to. My promise to you is NO HARM will come to your children, for they are protected and held firmly in the palm of My hands, but this is a part of their process. So, rest and settle your heart, Daughter. I know what I’m doing, and when the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen. I love you. AND…I’m going to restore and redeem them SO GOOD that people won’t even remember the old them!
